Safety & privacy

A childhood archive should never become a child’s digital footprint.

Little Lines keeps the useful thing—the drawing, the child’s own words, and concrete observations about the marks—without building a public identity around the child.

The product rules

  • The parent is the account holder

A child never creates an account, signs in, receives messages, or talks to an AI. The product gives the parent words to say out loud.

  • Private means private

There is no public gallery, social feed, follower system, or advertising profile. Drawing files live in private storage and are opened with short-lived links.

  • Uploads do not train models

Children’s drawings and the words saved with them are used only to provide the requested analysis. They are not used to train Little Lines or third-party models.

  • Location data is discarded

Phone photos can carry GPS coordinates. Little Lines removes EXIF metadata on the parent’s device before the drawing is uploaded.

Retention, with real numbers

Free archive: each drawing remains available for 90 days. Before an older drawing leaves the free archive, the parent can export it, delete it, or move to Family.

Family archive: drawings remain available while the Family plan is active. After a downgrade, there is a 30-day export window before drawings older than 90 days leave the account.

Account closure: the account becomes inaccessible immediately. Primary drawing files and account rows are permanently purged within 30 days; encrypted disaster-recovery backups age out within 90 days.

Parent control

  • Edit what the child said and when the drawing was made.
  • Export the account’s drawings, notes, and milestone record.
  • Delete one drawing without deleting the whole archive.
  • Delete the account and all storage objects together.

The short version

  • The parent owns the account; children never log in.
  • No public gallery, social feed, or advertising.
  • Uploads are not used to train models.
  • Location metadata is stripped before an image leaves the device.
  • A drawing can be exported or deleted by its parent.
  • Little Lines is creative coaching, never developmental screening.

Little Lines looks for observable drawing markers such as closed shapes, joined forms, and figure parts. It does not diagnose, rank, compare, or estimate a child’s ability or developmental age.
